Cookie policy

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Other technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), also make it possible to store information on your device. This policy applies to all of them, in accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
2. What this website uses
We use no social media cookies. In short:
- A technical entry in your browser to remember your privacy preferences.
- Google Analytics cookies, only if you accept them.
- Google advertising cookies for demographics and interests (Google Signals), only if you accept them.
- Visit counting by Cloudflare that uses no cookies.
- Third-party content (YouTube and Power BI), only when you ask for it.
3. Technical
These are needed for the website to work and to respect your choices, so they do not require consent.
| Name | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
datalsia-consent | Local storage, technical | Datalsia (first party) | To remember whether you accept or reject analytics, advertising and YouTube videos. | 24 months |
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a technical security cookie (for example, __cf_bm or cf_clearance) only if it detects suspicious traffic or needs to check that you are a person. It protects the website.
4. Analytics and advertising, only with your consent
On your first visit you will see a small notice with “Accept”, “Reject” and “Settings”. “Accept” turns on analytics and advertising; “Settings” lets you choose each one. If you do not accept, nothing from Google loads and you can browse just the same.
| Name | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Analytics cookie | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) | To tell visits apart with a pseudonymous identifier for statistics. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Analytics cookie | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) | To keep the state of the measurement session. | 2 years |
_gcl_au | Advertising cookie (only if you accept advertising) | Google Ireland Limited | To link visits with Google advertising in order to measure it. | 3 months |
If you accept advertising, Google may also link your visit to your Google account, if you are signed in and allow it in your account settings (Google Signals). This gives us aggregate reports on age, gender and interests, with no data that identifies you. For this, Google also uses its own cookies on its domains. Google receives your IP address to work out your location but does not store it. More detail in Google’s information.
We also count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and processes no personal data, which is why it does not ask for your permission.
5. Third-party content, only with your permission
YouTube videos appear as a static image served from our domain. When you press “play”, we ask for your permission before loading anything. If you give it, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and from that point on Google may use its own cookies and local storage. The same applies to the Microsoft Power BI dashboards we publish on some pages: they do not load until you press “Cargar el cuadro de mando” (Load the dashboard).
| Service | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
YouTube (for example, YSC or VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE) | Third-party cookies and local storage | Google Ireland Limited | To play the video, measure its use, remember player preferences and protect the service. | From the session up to around six months, according to information from Google. |
| Microsoft Power BI | Third-party cookies and local storage | Microsoft | To display the dashboards we publish on some pages, only if you press “Cargar el cuadro de mando” (Load the dashboard). | As set out in the Microsoft privacy statement. |
If you do not give permission, neither YouTube nor Microsoft receives any data about you and you can continue browsing as normal.
6. How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice whenever you like, as easily as you made it. If you withdraw consent, we delete the corresponding Google cookies from your browser.
There is also a “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page. In addition, you can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser:
7. External links
Links to LinkedIn, YouTube or OpenStreetMap take you to third-party sites, which apply their own cookie policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change, and we will ask for your permission before using any cookie that requires it. More information on how we process your data is available in the privacy policy.
